The Loud Minority was founded by Lazy Mason and Mr.Guan in 2003. Back then the two dj's were hosting every second Saturday at the well known Cafe Europa in Vienna. The night got famous after a while and more and more people attended regularly. From there on the idea of a dj-collective which tries to entertain people with new and often unheard music was continuously growing bigger. Soon after the foundation Dj Luis Figueroa, Dereck Foreal, Ella and our VJ Cosmic W joined the movement and made TLM to what it is today.
We support good music.
As dj's we dont want to limit our self's to any certain musical genre, but all of us got a strong connection to soul, funk and hip hop music. Besides deejaying and hosting our little radio show on play.fm, we try to bring new and upcoming artists to Vienna.
Over the years we managed to present a long list of extraordinary good musicians in several locations all over Vienna. We are driven by the idea and the joy of giving artists and dj's of all styles the spotlight which they deserve. A big and lively group of supporters make it happen. By throwing parties we just want to be the little alternative which sometimes makes life so much more livable.
